INTRODUCTION
The Internet has removed all physical barriers and opened up a new world of communication with others without the traditional restrictions of time, space and distance. How we behave online is now just as important – if not more so – as our behavior offline. This course covers basic concepts and guidance about correct and polite behavior in social situations and situations.

Day Two
Netiquette: Dos and Don’ts for Email
- Email Compose
- Send and reply to email
- Don’t make these mistakes:
- Capital letters make it sound like you’re yelling
- Opening emails or attachments from unknown or suspicious senders
Day Three
Netiquette: Dos and Don’ts for Email
- Overusing priority, high importance, or receiving settings
- Sending or forwarding personal or private information without the consent of the original sender
- Include information that is not necessary or contrary to the purpose of the e-mail
- Use emoticons or abbreviations such as :) or “lol” unless written informally to friends or family
- Subscribe to unknown distribution lists
