Day Two 

Netiquette: Dos and Don’ts for Email

  • Email Compose
  • Send and reply to email
  • Don’t make these mistakes:
  • Capital letters make it sound like you’re yelling
  • Opening emails or attachments from unknown or suspicious senders

Day Three

Netiquette: Dos and Don’ts for Email

  • Overusing priority, high importance, or receiving settings
  • Sending or forwarding personal or private information without the consent of the original sender
  • Include information that is not necessary or contrary to the purpose of the e-mail
  • Use emoticons or abbreviations such as :) or “lol” unless written informally to friends or family
  • Subscribe to unknown distribution lists
